Volunteer Initiatives

Volunteers have put up Casa do Caminho on the UK charity fundraising network Just Giving. This network takes over the tedious paperwork with the goal of tax-efficient fundraising. They charge a small fee (5% of the amount donated) which is paid by the UK government or taken from the donations if you are not a UK taxpayer.

In a nutshell, we create and maintain the complex systems needed to handle large volumes of tax-efficient donations, so that charities don’t have to. Instead of buying and maintaining their own technology, our member charities use our platform and ‘pay as they go’ – a no-risk, low-cost option.
