Spenden an Casa do Caminho gehen über die Stiftung “Stichting Avante Educação Brasil” (AEB) in den Niederlanden. Der Direktor von Casa do Caminho, Bart Bijen, hat diese Stiftung in seinem Heimatland aufgebaut. Der Grund für den Umweg über AEB ist, dass jede direkte Überweisung an eine Brasilianische Bank etwa 30 US Dollar kostet. Dadurch, dass wir größere Summen über unsere Partnerorganisation AEB in den Niederlanden überweisen, reduzieren wir die Verwaltungskosten, die sonst von Ihren Spenden abgezogen werden würden.         Note: used toy and clothing donations are not needed, as we receive substaintial amounts from the community. New clothing & toys can be brought as birthday presents - please inquire with the current volunteer coordinator at Casa about any other materials for specific activities or projects that you will need, since some items can be much cheaper or much more expensive in Brazil, or can be impossible to find, so it can be determined whether you should bring it from your home country or not.
